Ciste Dhubh & Two More, 3 Munros

Ciste Dhubh is a fine stand alone munro in its own right and offers spectacular views towards the other munros that surround it. This walk combines Ciste Dhubh with possibley the finest ridge walk in Kintail Mullach Fraoch-choire & A’ Chralaig a further two munros.
The day will start from The Cluanie Inn, a short steady climb leads to the summit of Am Bathach a corbett with great character and surprisingly good view point. A short descent leads to a bealach, here we can gain the south facing ridge of Ciste Dhubh. A steady climb up this broad ridge leads to the fine summit of Ciste Dhubh, the first munro of the day and a magnificent view point.
To continue this journey we must now descend steeply from Ciste Dhubh east towards another bealach, from here a very steep uphill climb leads to a narrow ridge. We will continue north along this narrow ridge which involves some easy scrambling to reach the summit of Mullach Fraoch-choire the second munro of the day.
Now we must retrace our steps back along the narrow ridge south towards the summit of A’ Chralaig the third and final munro of the day.
Descent will be to the south from A’ Chralaig back to our starting point at The Cluanie Inn.
