The Fannaichs, Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich to An Coileachan. 4 Munros

The Fannaichs is a spectacular mountain range with many peaks connected by sweeping ridges and corries and is located to the south of the A835 road which connects Ullapool in the west to Inverness in the east of Scotland.
This spectacular walk within the Fannaichs takes in four munros, Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich, Sgurr Mor, Meall Gorm and Coileachan.
Starting from Loch Droma the walk in follows a 4×4 track until it is possible to gain the open hillside and ascend directly to the summit of Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich the first munro of the day. From here a broad sweeping ridge leads to the summit of Sgurr Mhor a fine view point and the second munro of the day. The journey continues to Meall Gorm the third munro to An Coileachan the forth and final munro of this epic ridge walk.
Descent will be from An Coileachan passing Loch Gorm and continuing north back to the roadside where a car will be waiting to return us to our starting point at Loch Droma.
