Slioch is a fine munro and is located within the mountains that stretch from Loch Maree to Loch Broom.
The day will start from Incheril where a gentle walk in towards Loch Maree leads us to Gleann Bianasdail. From here it is possible to continue into Coire na Sleaghaich where a steep uphill climb will allow us to reach the rocky ridge of Slioch.
We will continue along this fine ridge to the summit of Slioch a mountain made of ancient Torridonion sandstone. Its a commanding peak with fine views all round.
Descent will be to the east via another fine ridge and steep down hill climb back into Corrie na Sleaghaich, from here we will return to our starting point at Incheril.
