Torridon Liathach, 2 Munros
August 5 @ 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
£65.00
Torridon is home to some of the most spectacular mountains and mountain ridges within mainland Scotland. Liathach, similar to Beinn Alligin is also made up of two munros, Spidean a’ Choire Leith & Meall Dearg that combine to form an impressive ridge line.
The day will begin at the public toilets located on the outskirts of Torridon Village, here we will arrange cars to ferry us to the start of the days walking.
The walk will begin from a car park within Glen Torridon, from the car park a steep and steady uphill climb leads to the summit of Spidean a’ Choire Leith the first munro of the day.
To gain the summit of Mullach an Rathain the second munro of the day we must first cross the pinnacles, once we have safely crossed the pinnacles and arrived at the bealach on the other side, a steady uphill climb leads to the summit of Mullach an Rathain.
Descent is to the south, where a car will be waiting to return us to our starting point.
